Services Provided

Flamingo Bowl provides entertainment for the whole family, whether it is in league or open bowling.  We also host annual tournaments for competition and observation.  We are home of the Rio Grande Valley Latin Bowlers Club.

We also host a portion of the annual Hidalgo County Women's Bowling Association and the Rio Grande Valley Bowling Association's tournaments.

We offer a fully stocked pro shop for bowling equipment needs and we have USA Bowling Certified Coaches that can provide the latest in bowling instruction.

A snack bar and lounge are also provided for our customers' needs.

Flamingo Bowl's History

Flamingo Bowl was established July 19, 1990.  We purchased the original Fiesta Lanes located at the same address.  In October, 1990, the facilities were remodeled to provide the latest in automatic scoring equipment, a more complete pro shop, and a better equipped snack bar.  In September 1992, addition of 16 lanes was completed, giving Flamingo Bowl a total of 40 lanes.  Again, a larger pro shop was included, as well as a larger game room, and a completely new lounge, known as 25th Lane.  In late 2004 Flamingo Bowl remodeled its existing 40 lanes.  New synthetic lanes were added, as well as new seating and state of the art scoring equipment.  In early 2006, 25th Lane lounge was completely remodeled and now provides a great atmosphere.

Flamingo Bowl's Future

Flamingo Bowl will continue improving certain aspects of its facility.  In the works are a new lighting system, sound system, a modern pro shop, a larger snack bar, and much more.  Stay tuned to find out what changes and improvements are coming to the center.
